Salient's Alarm Client, also known as the Dark Screen Client, displays only relevant events to the security system operator. Video windows are blank until an associated camera shows motion or an alarm event occurs. Video displays instantly on an alarm to catch the attention of the security operator. Video events are then displayed in a history list where the operator can call up live video with full camera controls and review the recording of the event side-by-side.
