Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Austin, TX

Job Summary:

Job Duties:

  • Process assets produced and shipped by Salient and its manufacturing locations into Salient’s Asset Management System
  • Comply with procedural rule sets based on the origination points of the assets
  • Monitor the license request inbox and respond to customers licensing requests in a timely manner
  • Answer customer calls and provide general assistance to customers
  • Other tasks and project opportunities may be available as the company grows

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Technical Support Supervisor
  • Provide quality service to Salient’s internal staff and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding Salient’s values at all times
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Accounting, Marketing, Manufacturing and Administration as requested

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • “Can do” attitude that is service-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Interest in technology
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Experience with CRM systems, case management systems, and survey tools
  • Ability to be well organized and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated & driven to succeed
  • Ability to successfully complete projects on schedule
  • Resourceful at resolving customer challenges
  • Self-motivated & driven to succeed

Education and Experience:

Previous experience in the physical security industry and/or video surveillance product knowledge is a plus.

Salary:

Salary is commensurate with experience.  Salient Systems provides an excellent benefits package which includes company provided health, optional employee paid dental, vision, AD&D, LTD and more.

Working Environment:

Work based in our Austin-based HQ office.
