Blake Paris is the vice president of Safety and Experience at Smith Entertainment Group, owner of Vivint Arena, and the NBA Utah Jazz. He has been in the security industry for more than 18 years. He is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, conducting security mission in the Arabian Gulf. He has served as security manager for many high-profile entertainment venues across the nation, including LA Live entertainment district in downtown Los Angeles; director of security at Barclays Center/Nassau Coliseum, and was the youngest security director in the NBA and NHL. He was the security director at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas; and senior director of security at SoFi Stadium and Entertainment District in Hollywood Park, the largest NFL stadium in the country.
