The University of Massachusetts

The University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass., (UMass Amherst) located in the Pioneer Valley maintains a sharp focus on security and safety of the campus population of more than 32,000 and has been executing a strategic shift from analog to IP video, integrated with access control and intrusion detection.

St. Judes

The current building stands in a central location in Havre, after the facility was moved in 1914 and rebuilt again in 1924.

It was during this time, in 1916, that St. Jude’s opened St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic School with a small enrollment of  100 students. The school has now started its 105th year with more than 150 students ranging from pre-school to eighth grade and offers extended care before and after hours.

 
 

University Of Kentucky

The largest university in the Commonwealth of Kentucky has significantly raised its situational awareness with Salient’s CompleteView video management platform. The Video Management System (VMS) provides the University of Kentucky Police Department the tools it needs to quickly and efficiently respond to security events anywhere on its campus, keeping students, faculty and staff safer than ever.

Garfield Public Schools

Garfield staff has taken security at its facilities to a higher-quality level. Dave Koptyra, director of security at GPS, monitors and plans the security for 5,300 students who fill 14 schools as well as two administrative centers.

“We have a mixed security solution in place right now.’ Koptyra said. “We are moving everything to IP network cameras and we are building a backbone to hold all the IP cameras we’re installing. We will have more than 400 cameras when we’re done:’
