Veteran technology sales leader joins Salient to lead the company’s global sales organization

AUSTIN, TexasMay 18, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Salient Systems, a leading provider of enterprise-class Video Management Software, today announced the appointment of Steve Bell as Executive Vice President, Sales. Bell brings more than 25 years of technology sales and leadership experience to the role, where he will lead Salient’s global sales organization, work directly with integrators and end users, and continue to scale the company’s presence across the enterprise market.

Bell brings a track record of building and scaling enterprise sales organizations with consistent, measurable revenue growth. He began his career as a technologist before moving into sales at CompuServe, where he was named the company’s top sales producer in his second year. He spent a decade at Fiberlink Communications, leading sales through the company’s acquisition by IBM, and went on to senior sales leadership roles at Kyriba, AppSense, and Agari. From 2019 to 2023, Bell led North America sales at IGEL Technology as Vice President and then Senior Vice President, helping transform the company from a hardware vendor into a software leader. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Workspot and then Vice President of North America Sales at CSC Digital Brand Services. Bell holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport.
